I am sure the teachers you partner with will appreciate what you pull from this text to help them get started. They are lucky to have the support of a math coach, especially when making a big change. Appreciate that you are reading along in the text and commenting.

All the best--
SarahAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07348667888099615210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8283889087342594043.post-23425681139966123432014-07-18T14:21:16.288-05:002014-07-18T14:21:16.288-05:00As a math coach for an elementary campus, I loved ...As a math coach for an elementary campus, I loved the overview of guided math and math workshop in chapter 2. I like that she mentioned the flexibility of using guided math outside of the workshop model. I know it is not what she recommends, but for teachers that are looking at a big change, using guided math can be a small step before launching math workshop. I know I will use pieces of this chapter for our staff development when we go back to school.

Thanks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02769548596806948079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8283889087342594043.post-52491470429567190652014-07-17T08:46:41.182-05:002014-07-17T08:46:41.182-05:00I *LOVE* the Easy button. And can I say I clicked on the link and found Problem Solving Discussion Fan Freebie. How awesome is that! Wow, such gems in one post. Thanks for hosting this book study. I can't wait to learn more from others!PamsPlacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12798336233672317286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8283889087342594043.post-59288314000909025902014-07-16T21:25:50.994-05:002014-07-16T21:25:50.994-05:00Thanks for your kind words! The possibilities are many with this--I was able to easily incorporate the exit slips and reflections that I have had my students do for years! Pretty much anything can be written on the blank white box for the kids to respond to. If you are interested in the numbered bulbs, let me know, as I can email them to you. Appreciate your thoughtful posts, on whatever day you chime in... :0)

SarahAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07348667888099615210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8283889087342594043.post-54091114938404119112014-07-16T21:20:09.125-05:002014-07-16T21:20:09.125-05:00I may be sharing them in a free download in the fu...I may be sharing them in a free download in the future but wanted to make sure it was alright first... :0)
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07348667888099615210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8283889087342594043.post-52055570323199839702014-07-16T11:36:52.252-05:002014-07-16T11:36:52.252-05:00Are your question posters available somewhere? Are your question posters available somewhere?Erikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01535929124900144607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8283889087342594043.post-39598261037662680512014-07-16T09:15:55.958-05:002014-07-16T09:15:55.958-05:00I love the idea board! I told you I would be posting on Thursdays...I did an oops and scheduled it for the wrong day! Oh well, it is up and I'm excited to get going. :-)

Thanks again for hosting!

Crystal

Teaching Little Miracles
Teaching Little Miracleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15694650140067870645noreply@blogger.com
